PS4 or XBOX One?

So, this has been a major topic recently in the gaming community. Which side am I on? Well, it's too obvious... I'm on Sony's side.

If you watched the E3 conferences, you probably noticed that XBOX wasn't doing so well with theirs in terms of reactions from the crowd. Why?

  • Well, maybe it's because people would like to play their 360 games on the new XBOX?
  • Maybe people would like to buy used games?
  • Maybe people would like to borrow a friend's game to play?
  • Maybe people would like to shut off the camera when it's not in use?
  • Maybe some people don't have internet(I will expand on this more, it will probably upset you)?
  • Maybe some people don't care to have TV integrated into the console(although, I think it is a nice feature, still unneeded)?
  • Maybe some people don't want to fork out 500 dollars, just a thought.
Let's expand a bit on each point made here.

Yes, XBOX One is NOT backwards compatible, I know it's sad. Good news, though, for you owners of the newer black XBOX 360 with cloud storage - You CAN back up your games on cloud, and then play them on the new XBOX One... But, the other XBOX 360 owners... I'm sorry, you will have to buy your game again if you do not have an external hard drive.

Let's look at borrowing a game, no one liked hearing that you can only trade a game ONCE and that's just giving it to your friend. Microsoft says that they are looking to change that in the future, though. With used games, you can only trade in to PARTICIPATING retailers, not ALL retailers, so that's another draw back.

Another things is the "always on, always watching" thing with the Kinect. In my eyes, that eats up a bit of power along with the console being able to download updates when it's "off." A lot of speculation comes with this as well. we know that Bill Gates has been in contact with the NSA, so will the Kinect be a tool used to listen in on stuff or watch? I feel that it's another turn off, but it could be just rumor, even then I do not like the power consumption, and the fact that the XBOX One wont function without it.

Here's the thing that really, really, really bugged me... Internet. The XBOX One is required to check in once every 24 hours, and is recommended that you keep it online anyways. Now, what about people who do not have internet? Don Mattrick of Microsoft had an interview with Dorito Pope, and the topic came up, and his response was:

"Fortunately we have a product for people aren't able to get some form of connectivity: it's called Xbox 360."

He went on to add:

"If you have zero access, [the 360] is an offline device. I mean, when I read the blogs and thought about who really is the most impacted, there was a person who said ‘hey, I’m on a nuclear sub’ – and I don’t even know what it means to be on a nuclear sub [grins] – but I imagine it’s not easy to get an internet connection. I can empathize, if I was on a sub, I’d be disappointed."

Clip of interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiUzaqOU06M

And finally, let's talk about TV. Honestly, this is going to be the shortest one. TV integration is cool, but not needed at all. It's a simple button click on your remote. I like it, but I understand it's not needed, and many hardcore gamers do not like it.

Now, let's talk about the competition... Sony.

On the reveal of the console itself, Sony came out guns blazing, fists swinging, you name it... And they landed a south paw so hard, it knocked a few teeth out of Microsoft's mouth.

The definition of troll in the dictionary should feature Sony's logo next to it, because Sony 1 upped everything that Microsoft provided, and trolled them harder than a semi slamming into a smart car at 100mph.

Sony trolls Microsoft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ-To7WJyWs

The PS4 supports used games, discs, sharing games with friends, can play offline without having to check in, 100 dollars cheaper, I can go on and on and on.

The bottom line here is, gamers are more focused on the PS4 that is more focused on them, it comes down to you to make the decision.

Well, well, well... We meet again, dark topic of abortion.

So, you all have heard the lies and whatnot from Pro-Choice lovers that "sometimes it is necessary to have an abortion." Well that statement, is incorrect, and it also should be worded differently, such as this: "Sometimes it is necessary to kill the baby" because, that is what it is folks.

If you, or anyone around you has heard the stories saying abortions can save lives, you are sadly misinformed. This has never been proven to be a medical treatment for anything that a Mother is dealing with. At times, a Mother could die during pregnancy and procedures have to be done to save the Mother, and unintentionally these procedures can kill the baby, but that is not an abortion, because the child is not intentionally harmed for the reason of getting rid of a child.

Too many Pro-Choicers have used that reason against Christians, and to be honest, it's time to stop.

Why is it time to stop you may ask? Well simply because, they are defending murder.

...What was that you say? It's murder? Yes, it is the taking of an innocent life for a selfish reason.

I pose this question to Mothers... Look at your children, and ask yourself, "With what I know now, given the right circumstances, would I have gotten an abortion?"

The answer, is no.

If you answered yes, I strongly suggest that you see a psychiatrist, because that's just simply... scary.

The majority of Mothers would answer no, to be honest, because they know what a joy their children really are to them.

I know what you are saying, "But who cares about Mothers who already have children? They don't matter! They made their choice, and they have to live with it, I can make my own choice for my own body!"

Well let's be honest, honey, it's not your body that you are making a choice for.

The fact is, you are ending a life that has never really started. A life, that could change the world, a change that we need... but you killed it, and the blood is on your hands. That feel good? Nope.

Let's look at some facts here, with help from our good friend Todd Friel-

We’ve all heard the stories of psychics and men predicting future events, and then a lot of their predictions just crumble to the ground and never happen. The reason I have written this, is because of December 21st, man’s prediction on how and when our world will end. Well, we are still here. Once a psychic or even a mere man is wrong in their predictions, biblical prophets end up being called liars and phonies because of these failures. What we have to ask, is what is a prophecy? Is it just a psychic prediction that can possibly be just a guess? Or is it a divine message given to the prophet from God? Let’s take a look at what the word prophecy means.

Prophecy – A prediction of the future to come, can be defined as the future told in advance by God through a prophet.

Isaiah 48:2-5 2 you who call yourselves citizens of the holy city

and claim to rely on the God of Israel—

the Lord Almighty is his name:

3 I foretold the former things long ago,

my mouth announced them and I made them known;

then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.

4 For I knew how stubborn you were;

your neck muscles were iron,

your forehead was bronze.

5 Therefore I told you these things long ago;

before they happened I announced them to you

so that you could not say,

‘My images brought them about;

my wooden image and metal god ordained them.’

One of the main questions that I have heard has been, “Isn’t ‘fulfilled prophecy’ just a guess, or luck, or coincidence?”

My answer to that question, is no.

True prophecy is NOT guesswork from the prophet themselves, as scripture has shown us time and time again, it is a message from God to a prophet to tell others about the events to come.

Peter himself wrote that these fulfilled prophecies are not the works of the prophets themselves, or even their own interpretation of something, but the origin of prophecy has never been with man.

As stated in the scripture reading this morning 2 Peter 1:19-21 19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Another question that has been raised by many, asks if there are prophecies in the Old Testament regarding the Messiah.

There are Infact about four hundred and twenty-five prophecies about the Messiah. I will give you just a small sample of them.

God would come to Earth, born as a human male –

Isaiah 9:6-7 6 For to us a child is born,

to us a son is given,

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7 Of the greatness of his government and peace

there will be no end.

He will reign on David’s throne

and over his kingdom,

establishing and upholding it

with justice and righteousness

from that time on and forever.

The zeal of the Lord Almighty

will accomplish this.

John 1:1-15 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”) 16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

The coming Messiah being born of a virgin Mother is another Prophecy that the Old Testament had listed.

Matthew 1:20-23 (This is after Joseph had received the news from Mary that she was pregnant, he was deciding to divorce Mary secretly because he knew that the child was not his, and he did not want it to be known publicly that he was divorcing her because he knew she could be stoned to death for being unfaithful)20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel.” (which means “God with us”).

His Birth Would Trigger a Massacre of Infant Boys

Matthew 2:16-18 16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. 17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:

18 “A voice is heard in Ramah,

weeping and great mourning,

Rachel weeping for her children

and refusing to be comforted,

because they are no more.”

Another prophecy fulfilled in the Old Testament was that the Messiah would perform miraculous healings

Such as Isaiah 35:5-6 5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened

and the ears of the deaf unstopped.

6 Then will the lame leap like a deer,

and the mute tongue shout for joy.

Water will gush forth in the wilderness

and streams in the desert.

In a number of instances, the New Testament authors wrote that “this was to fulfill prophecy” yet people seem to ignore that.

I have heard people say that these are self-fulfilling Prophecies, which are prophecies that are predictions that directly OR indirectly cause themselves to become true. Well, unless he was operating under the authority of God, then how could Jesus arrange to fulfill any of the Messianic Prophecies such as:

The Messiah Being Born in Bethlehem (John 7:42 Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David's family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?")

Be from Nazareth (Isaiah 9:1-2 says 1. Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan—

2 The people walking in darkness

have seen a great light;

on those living in the land of deep darkness

a light has dawned.)

Come out of Egypt (Matthew 2:14-15 14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”)

Descended from Judah (Isaiah 37:31 31 Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah

will take root below and bear fruit above.)

Descended from Jesse (Isaiah 11:10 10 In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him,and his resting place will be glorious.)

Descended from David (Once again, I list John 7:42 Does not the Scripture say that the Christ will come from David's family and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?")

No bones broken (The two thieves, crucified with Jesus, had both legs broken, but Christ had no bones broken at his death. After seeing Christ and his glory, the rude soldiers had been softened and refrained from breaking his limbs, fulfilling the offering of the Lamb of God in the law of the Passover found in Numbers 9:12 12 They must not leave any of it till morning or break any of its bones. When they celebrate the Passover, they must follow all the regulations.)

Betrayed by a friend (in Mark 14:66-72 Peter denied any knowledge of Jesus, also Judas had betrayed Jesus by getting him arrested and brought to the Chief Priests for an amount of money, the thing that is most devastating about this, was the infamous kiss on Jesus’ cheek.)

Betrayed for exactly 30 pieces of silver (The amount Judas betrayed Jesus for, by bringing him to the Chief Priest)

30 Pieces of Silver returned (Judas was filled with remorse and returned the silver which was deemed as blood money. This return was done by throwing it back into the temple)

30 Pieces used to buy the potter’s field (The silver that was given to Judas for delivering Jesus to the Chief Priest was used to purchase this field of clay that was used to bury poor Jews who died in Jerusalem. The field had become known as the “Field of Blood” because it was purchased with “Blood Money.”)

Born of a virgin (In Isaiah 7:14, the prophet Isaiah addresses the "house of David," meaning the family and descendants of King David, and speaks of a virgin being pregnant with a child, and giving birth to the child. Isaiah says this in the context of it being a sign from God. He also says that the child would be referred to as "Immanuel," which means, "God with us.")

He would perform miracles, which was prophesized in Isaiah 29:18 (18 In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll,

and out of gloom and darkness

the eyes of the blind will see.)

And then finally, the most important of all, the explanation of the resurrection by Jesus featured in Matthew 16:21 (21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.)

My question, in closing, is for all of you. Will you believe the words of man’s feeble predictions of our future such as the day the world will come to an end which Matthew 24:36 says No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Will you believe the feeble words, or will you believe what has already been said through the writings of men, told by God, that continue to come true, even today, and our days to come?

What Proves The Christian God to be REAL?

Posted by Ian on May 15, 2013 at 5:00 PM Comments comments (0)

So, for years upon years people have believed in Gods. For those years, people have wondered which Gods to believe in.

Most of my life, I have been an Atheist, but now I am a Christian because the God of Abraham and Isaac and so on presented himself to me and proved his existence so I could teach others. Many will tell me I am delusional, well that's what I believed of Christians till it happened. So what, other than the fact that God showed himself to me, leads me to believe that he is the only true God?

Jesus Christ.

Well that was simple enough. Why do I say Jesus? Because Jesus is historical and the crucifixion is historical and so is the resurrection. Jesus proved his claims as the son of God by appearing to those who would speak out for him and teach the masses about him and his power. Jesus, was love and honesty, but also brought cold hard truth with him and told of the future and things that are still occurring to this day.

That was the most simple way to tell you that the Christian and Jewish God is the only God out there.

Another way is, Bible prophecy fulfilled.

The prophecies of the Bible are still coming true today, all the way from the description of the statue of Liberty(Babylonian Whore) to the 9/11 attacks and how sinners who rebel against God act towards him.

Another thing is, other religions.

The Islamic religion is supposedly based on peace, yet so many people are being killed because they don't believe in Allah. Also, the reward of death is adultery... 72 virgins. It's prophet, Mohammed, is actually a murderer and a drunkard who was very power hungry. Also, through studying, I have learned that the stories of Mohammed were changed to mimmick the life of Christ 300 years after the crucifixion and resurrection, and Jesus in the quran is made to look like a mere teacher and not the son of God.

Sadly, I cannot show you beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is the one true God, because personal proof is the best proof, but I can tell you that other beliefs will lie to you to get you to believe them and take you away from God.

They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Scripture reading: Acts 16:29-33

New International Version (NIV)

29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.

Today, we will be speaking about a very important part of Christianity, faith. Are there some who need the answer to the greatest question of life? To such there is no answer to give than that given by Paul in the text.

What precedes the act of faith in the experience of the sinner?

As we reflect on the scripture reading, we see that the jailer is very interested in Paul and Silas’ faith. Why was he so interested? Well, previous to the jailer’s interest in their faith, and this is very essential to it, there was a conviction first of his guilt, then of his danger, and therefore there is a need of salvation, and of a savior. This is found in

Acts 16:20-30

New International Version (NIV)

20 They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.”

22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. 23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 24 When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.

25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

If a person is truly convinced that they are a sinner, justly condemned for their sins, lost unless they obtain mercy through Christ, they don’t need to wait for any longer, so why should they wait?

Let’s take a look at the object of faith.

Now, when I say “the object of faith,” You’re probably thinking “object of faith? What are you talking about?”

Well, what I mean is what we base our faith on. Do we base our faith on something worldly, like football or vehicles or our job? Or do we base it on something else, like people or animals or a God?

Well, in this case, let’s look at what Paul tells us.

In Acts chapter 19 verse 4 Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus."

Now, let’s take a look at what Paul is talking about here.

In Matthew chapter 3 verse 11 John states "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Now, we can see that both men tell us to put our faith in Christ, and Christ alone, to make him the object of our faith.

Too many times, I’ve witnessed people trying to put their faith in other people, trying to put their faith in themselves, trying to put their faith in other things, but never in Christ, and it seems to always lead them down the wrong path. I have even seen Christians do the same, it almost seems that they have forgotten about the one who had promised them that He would never leave them.

Hebrews 13:1-5

New International Version (NIV)

13 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.3 Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. 5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;

never will I forsake you.”

Let’s now consider the ACT of faith.

Faith in Christ, is simply the confidence or trust in Him. It involves assent to the truth as it is in Jesus, but it is much more than this; it is the heart in Him, and the approval of the way of salvation by Him.

Romans 10:1-15

New International Version (NIV)

10 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

5 Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.”[a] 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’”[b] (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’”[c] (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[d] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[f]

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

As we can see from what scripture has given us, faith and works are very important parts of our salvation.

Without faith, there is no salvation.

Let’s look at the results of faith.

A. On God’s end, is his justification of the sinner themselves.

It says in Romans that God justifies the ungodly. Romans 4:5 But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

B. There is His acceptance of the believers.

C. There is His bestowment of His spirit on the believer.

We are given the holy spirit to guide us through life. Notice, that when you become a believer in God, everything seems to become clearer to you, you start to see things that you never have seen before. John 16:13 says “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” In my life as an Ex Atheist, I can definitely say that the things that I used to think were great, are rubbish to God, and he has let me see that because I have faith in him.

D. On the part of the believer there is peace and joy.

Another little thing about me, when I came to believing in God, I wasn’t always the happiest person. Once God showed me his love and forgiveness, my life turned a 180. Now, I find joy in the simplest of things, and I find comfort in the fact that God loves me so much, that he sent his only son to die on a cross to pay the price for my sins.

E. Another result, is obedience to God’s word.

As I said earlier, you start to see what is ungodly to the Lord, you start turning on evil.

F. The final result of faith, is eternal life.

The great issues of faith are in eternity. Who can show us the everlasting difference between a lost soul and a saved soul? Christ himself.

In closing, we see that through faith in Christ, and Christ alone we are saved. Now, here are some facts to leave you with.

1. The terms of our salvation are easy and simple, there is nothing that is impossible to do to become saved.

2. The time to exercise our faith, is the time we are given here on Earth, which is now.

3. And the results of faith are the most urgent motives to it’s immediate exercise. Why wait for tomorrow, to do what you can do today for God’s Kingdom?

True Christian Views on Homosexuality

Posted by Ian on May 15, 2013 at 4:50 PM Comments comments (0)

For the first article on here, I have to address something that people get wrong. Even some so called "Christians" get this wrong... You know who THEY are.

This is how true Christians view homosexuality.

Despite what many groups of people say about Christians and Homosexuality, we do not hate Homosexuals at all. The thing that Homosexuals, Atheists, and EVEN so called "Christians" have to remember, is that Jesus taught us to love one another. He spent his whole life hanging out with the tax collectors, the lepers, the prostitutes, and yet people think that we should hate these people. Well, Jesus loved them for them, not what they do or what sins they do and do not commit. He taught us to love, just as he does, which is love everyone.

At this point, you might be saying, "Ian, the Bible says that what they do is wrong, so how can that be when God loves them anyways? How can that be when God will inflict his judgement on them?" Let me explain this to you in a simple way so you all can understand...

Romans 1:20-32

English Standard Version (ESV)

20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[a] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

So this piece of scripture talks about the reason why Homosexuality STILL exists. Where God is not wanted, God does not go. When I say that, I mean that if God is not wanted, then God will leave. Romans 1:28 "And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done." God had created us with free will, meaning choice. We have choice to follow him, or choice to disobey him. Just like following and disobeying a parent. In the beginning, there was no bad at all, God had looked over his creation and said it was good. The reason why the tree was planted in the garden, was for us to have a choice between God and the good he wants for us, and evil. If that tree was not there for Adam and Eve to choose, we would just be mere puppets with no choice. To have true love, you have to have choice. Once we were given choice, we were imperfect.

To piggy-back my last statements, as you can see, a lot of Homosexuals want God out of everything and can't stand hearing that they are commiting sin, so God has given them up to their depraved minds. That's how much God loves us, he lets us believe what we want to believe, and to search for him ourselves(which leads to an honest relationship with him). Atheists such as Richard Dawkins have been given up to their depraved, God hating minds, because they choose to not believe in God, therefor God does not make them believe. Now quiet Atheists on the other hand who just don't believe, can be shown who God is by God himself, because they didn't choose to believe against God. Homosexuals hate hearing that they are sinning, so God lets them believe that it is okay, because he loves them and will not kill them. I say that and you all are probably wanting to quote some OT stuff, well you forget the reason Christ was on the cross. BOOM.

To really get to my point in this, God loves his Creation, he loves us so much that he gave up Jesus(God in human form) for our sins so we wouldn't feel God's wrath, and that we would have way of salvation through Christ himself, but we will be judged for turning on God and spitting in his face. Jesus taught us to love one another and to teach the word of God and to live it, and that is what we Christians truly have to do, not judge, but teach and love.

Westboro, you people aren't Christians, you are doing the work of Satan, Christ came with love and the word of God which would stir up dust. You just come with a load of harmful lies from Hell. To all the Homosexuals out there, God loves you and so do we, turn to God and he will help you see the truth in things. Believe me, there is such thing as an Ex Homosexual, and they have turned to God and realized that they are created, not for the same gender, but for the other gender, and their interests were truly sinful lies.

And I have to add this on, for you Atheists who like to say that God seems like a dictator and wants to take away every good thing from everyone. Well, God is the creator of the universe, he knows whats good for you because he created the good, and he knows whats bad for you because the bad is influenced by Satan who rebelled against God. Lastly, in saying that, Atheists, you said the same thing Satan did to influence Eve to get Adam to eat the fruit.

Much love,

God bless,

- Ian

Decorated Marine, Tyler Ziegel, Dies

Posted by Ian on December 27, 2012 at 11:40 PM Comments comments (0)

Tyler Ziegel, from Washington, Illinois who was a Member of the Marine Corp, injured 8 years ago in a car bomb blast in Iraq, passed away Wednesday morning.

He was pronounced dead at 2:15 in the morning at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. An autopsy could not find what had caused the death of the 30 year old Marine, but it was found that he had an enlarged heart.

Rescue personel were called to Sue's Place in Metamora, Illinois on a report that Ziegel had fallen in the parking lot. They arrived at the hospital with Ziegel at about 1:45am.

Ziegel suffered 3rd degree burns along with full depth burns on his head, left arm, and right hand, and went through 30 surgeries and spent 19 months in an Army hospital.

Ziegels attitude impressed everyone. He went from room to room talking to patients, and when he returned he acted as if he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and he did not want any pity.

Friends and family say that Ziegel was a great friend, and a great Marine, but most of all, a wonderful person.

I never knew him, but I can definitely say that he will be missed. Thank you for your service, Tyler. - Ian
